KEEP THEM IN THE SADDLE
Our goal is to raise $30,000 for our Financial Aid Fund!
Dear Friends of Alatheia,
If you could change the life of one child or adult with special needs, would you? Because our generous donors said, “Yes!” to that question, nearly 90 riders each week participated in a life-changing experience at Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center this year. On behalf of them, Thank You, to all of you who helped make it possible! Your gift was their gain and you made a significant difference in their lives with the healing power of horses.
Today we’re launching our 2018 Year-End Campaign, Keep Them in the Saddle. Our goal is to raise $30,000 for our Financial Aid Fund that guarantees no-one is denied access to therapeutic riding due to the inability to pay fees. It also ensures we can maintain the quality program we are known for and perform at capacity in 2019. Our friends at the NCW Community Foundation have awarded us a $14,000 grant to get us started. We are partnering with them via their Give NCW Campaign to raise the rest with 100% of your gift returning to the Alatheia riders. Will you help them with a special donation of $50, $100 or whatever feels right to you to help us meet this goal?
Consider Ella. A quiet and smart 4 year old girl, born with a rare disorder characterized by progressive weakness of the muscles used for mobility and breathing. Our goal and Ella’s hope is to keep her strong enough to ride independently next year. Every day is a struggle, but her mother tells us, “Therapeutic riding has meant the world to Ella. For a child that has spent much of her life battling a cruel disease another minute in a hospital or doctor’s office is one too many. Therapy on Rikky is different…It is fun. It is empowering. It is life-changing. It’s so much more hands-on and the investment from Ella’s team is incredible. I can’t thank you enough for all that you do – the energy is pervasive & it helps keep us all moving upward in the fight.”
Because of you, stories like Ella’s happen every day at Alatheia.
Let’s make Ella’s hope a reality. Let’s do it for others like her and change lives together.
