Since our opening in 2011 we knew the day would come when Alatheia would outgrow its current facility and location. As a result our five year Strategic Plan called for a relocation and expansion project be initiated in 2018 that would double our capacity to serve the special needs communities in Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan, and Grant Counties. In late 2017 we began conversations with a landowner who also believed in our vision. Nearly two years later on April 24, 2019, with the generous help of a single donor, we closed on that same piece of land. Alatheia now owns a 12-acre parcel at the intersection of American Fruit Road and Easy Street that will easily accommodate the growth we expect. We are thrilled to announce Alatheia’s “Double the Capacity” Capital Campaign, a fundraising effort that will make it possible for us to eliminate our growing waiting list, meet future demand and serve the special needs population of this great valley for generations to come.
